Like the white, the red 2022 Edición 1 Tinto is a single barrel selected for their UK importer Noble Rot, but it's also sold elsewhere. The red is also a 500-liter barrel from the El Ciruelo Vineyard. It fermented with 50% full clusters and indigenous yeasts and had 18 days of maceration and an élevage of 11 months. It has medium ripeness at 12.41% alcohol. The search was for a more drinkable wine, so this wine has more fruit. The vinification was with less full clusters and they were not foot trodden. It's a very fine expression of Listán Negro, though perhaps without the complexity and depth of Las Suertes. 630 bottles were filled in September 2023.
