The 2021 Felseneck Riesling Kabinett opens with a bright, precise and pure bouquet of flinty-scented ripe fruits with stones notes. Light and lush on the palate, this is delicate, filigreed, saline and juicy Kabinett with piquant but ripe acidity and sharp slate definition. Bottled with 8.5% stated alcohol and 10.5 grams per liter of total acidity. Natural cork. Tasted in July 2022.
Super-cool nose of white peach, fresh mint and anise. Super-clean and refreshing, the natural grape sweetness almost completely absorbed by the strident minerality. Electric energy at the dangerously refreshing finish. From organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification. Drink or hold.
