A discreet application of wood is present on the aromas of just sliced pear, apple, ocean breeze and crushed fennel. There is fine mid-palate concentration to the seductively textured and refined medium weight flavors that retain excellent punch on the subtly stony, youthfully austere and sneaky long finish. This delicious effort should amply repay a decade of aging, perhaps even a bit more.
