This is also quite deeply colored. A highly scented nose of cassis, plum liqueur, spice and earth leads to gorgeous rich and palate enveloping flavors that possess seemingly endless reserves of dry extract that imparts an exceptionally textured mouth feel and pushes the otherwise firm tannic spine to the background. The velvety finish displays impeccably good balance as well as flat out amazing persistence though note that this is built for the very long haul.
