A more restrained combination is comprised by notes of red and dark currant along with a plethora of spice, floral and tea nuances that include star anise, clove, jasmine, violet and a whiff of sandalwood. There is more volume and mid-palate concentration to the bigger-bodied flavors that possess a silky yet firm texture that carries over to the impressively persistent finish.
