Jacques Seysses founded Domaine Dujac in 1968, having worked for Gerard Potel at Domaine de La Pousse d’Or in 1966 and 1967. The domaine was formed from Domaine Graillet, which he renamed Dujac (du Jacques = Jacques' domaine).

From 5 hectares in 1968, the estate now stands at 15.5 hectares, including just under 2 hectares of Clos de la Roche, 1.47 of Clos St Denis and 1.57 of Vosne Malconsorts purchased in 2005. The estate was certified organic in 2011, and biodynamic practices are used throughout the estate.

His sons Jeremy and Alec now run the estate, which is one of Burgundy’s leading domaines.
