A pretty nose of fresh, ripe and relatively elegant earthy red pinot fruit that has a hint of raspberry liqueur to it that slides into round and surprisingly forward middle weight flavors that possess good concentration and completely buried tannins, indeed it is only with extended air that they are apparent at all. This is very nicely balanced and a good deal less robust than one typically finds with young Corton yet the balance is such that this should be capable of extended aging if desired. The only nit is that there is limited complexity, at least at this very early juncture but should it improve materially with age in bottle then my rating will seem unduly conservative. Note that this could even be approached now though I have indicated a much longer initial drinking window as some may find the youthful austerity present on the finish to be less "inviting" than they might like.
