Echézeaux, Domaine Jean Grivot 2004

Tasting Notes

Quite spicy and pure with unusually elegant black fruit aromas nuanced by tea, leather, anise, clove and jasmine that give way to supple, sweet, mouth coating and dusty medium full flavors that culminate in a finish that offers striking power and length plus ample punch. This is an Echézeaux of finesse and understatement with a clarity of expression that approaches the crystalline.
