Picked 25-30 Sep. All Merlot. Very deep. (See The story of Girolate.) Some fragrance. Lots of meat and depth. Really taken to the limit! Lots of alcohol and tannin but there is juice and fragrance too. A bit alcoholic on the end. But there is real drama here. Just rather drying tannins on the finish. (JR) 2013– 2017
