Clos de la Roche, Pascale Marchand / Marchand-Tawse 2009

Tasting Notes

Moderate wood influence frames an otherwise fresh, airy and cool nose of red berries, plum and a hint of cassis that leads to notably more muscular and robust broad-shouldered flavors that display excellent intensity on the powerful, complex and somewhat longer finish. This should age well though require 15 or so years in the process. Note: fashioned with 20% whole clusters
