Moderately heavy reduction. The rich, intense and overtly muscular imposingly-scaled flavors also possess excellent mid-palate concentration with plenty of dry extract that serves to buffer the notably prominent tannic spine on the equally serious, long and explosive finish. This is not an elegant wine but it is very clearly built-to-age.
