Gevrey Chambertin, Dujac Fils & Pere 2011

Tasting Notes

Here the nose is much earthier and wilder than that of the Morey with plenty of earth, humus, animale and wet stone hints to the cool dark berry fruit aromas. There is excellent precision and underlying tension to the intense medium-bodied flavors that are very Gevrey in character, all wrapped in a long and serious finish. I quite like this as it delivers fine quality for its level.
