The 2020 Cabernet Franc is fully de-stemmed. Very Bordeaux-like on the nose, this opens nicely with brambly black fruit, black pepper and a touch of rooibos. The palate is medium-bodied with a grippy entry, fine tannins, fresh and saline with a clean and persistent finish. Peter-Allan Finlayson nailed this variety this year, and I wager that there is even better to come.
