Arbois Pupillin Ploussard Chambines, Cellier Saint Benoit 2021

Tasting Notes

The 2021 Ploussard Chambines is the lowest in alcohol of the Ploussards, with only 11.5%, and it's the largest cuvée in this catastrophic year, with only 776 bottles produced. He made this Ploussard in the traditional way—manually destemming the grapes, fermenting with indigenous yeasts and maturing mostly in stainless steel—until 2022, when he bought a lot of barrels and oak vats. This is a little cloudy and wild but with good finesse. 2023 - 2028
