Bright, brilliant ruby colour in the glass. Very expressive and powerful on the nose already, mixing bright red fruit and a hint of fresh black fruit with savoury spices and dried herbs. The palate is sumptuous in fruit but deep and driven, finding that perfect combination of hedonism and intrigue. The acidity is electric, cutting through the rich and dense fruit at the core without any harshness. The tannins are supple and wonderfully integrated already. Layers of toasted spice, rosemary and garrigue build a savoury edge through to a long, persistent finish. This is gorgeous already, but there is doubtless a long life ahead. Outstanding.
