A composite of pinot noir sourced across the Tamar Valley, Pipers River, Huon Valley and Derwent Valley. There is a stony calm to the aromatic profile here, with tones of red cherry, dried cranberry, spice, citrus blossom, charcuterie, fennel tops, earth and crushed rock. The Chatto leitmotif of detail and a sense of space is here in spades, but it's a really calm, assured wine this year and just lovely drinking.
