This is full-bodied with a lovely balance of chocolate and berry character, and very silky tannins. It is rich and classy. Made from carignano, cannonau (aka grenache) and bovale grapes. This is one of the great wines of Sardinia, and this year marks its 20th year of production. Try it in 2016 when the tannins are a little softer, but it is so wonderful now.
