Tasting Notes

Everything one could want from a young burgundy with its peacock's tail of spicy fruit, remarkably intense flavors, firm yet velvety tannins and staggering length. The wine simply exudes class. This is astoundingly good and should age for 20 years or more. A great, great Richebourg, which may one day rival Anne's greatest wine to date, the 1993 Richebourg.
One of the top ten wines I have tasted from 1998.
