Richebourg, Domaine Hudelot-Noellat 2002

Tasting Notes

**Note: from Richebourg proper**
Brooding, reticent and completely backward, revealing only reluctant notes of crushed black cherries, ripe earth and a deft touch of wood spice followed by unctuously rich, robust, muscular flavors that display outstanding density and first rate balance. This intensity builds from the mid-palate and finally explodes on the finish with absolutely perfect acid/fruit balance and the phenomenal length just doesn't quit. This is presently a good deal more forward than its '01 counterpart but it will be capable of 20 years plus aging potential.
