Tasting Notes

Pale ruby-garnet, the 2019 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard has singular aromas of wild strawberries and blackberries with nuances of allspice, dried flowers, citrus peel and autumn leaves. The palate is light-bodied and fresh with an alluring flourish of spices, delicate, transparent fruits and a long, graphite-laced finish.

A light shade of rusty ruby in the glass, this bottling from the historic vineyard begins with aromas of sandalwood, crushed slate and red-plum skin. Tart cranberry flavors show on the sip, where rose petal, tea leaves and light pepper spice adds elegant complexity.
