Tasting Notes

The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Village from Maison Drouhin has turned out very nicely, offering up an inviting bouquet of ripe cherries, plums, smoked meats and dried flowers. Medium-bodied, rich and fleshy, it's open and giving, built around melting tannins and succulent acids.

An attractive wine from its deepish crimson colour onwards. There is a huge wealthy of vigorous fruit, some damson, real energy, finishing on a high. Yet another really fine village Gevrey-Chambertin.
