Tasting Notes

Exhibiting aromas of pear, citrus zest, green apple, fresh mint and buttery pastry, the 2020 Meursault Meix Chavaux is a touch fleshier and more textural than the Vireuils. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and nicely concentrated, it's girdled by bright acids and concludes with a saline finish.

William Kelley, RobertParker.com, January 2022

Picked on 27th August, 13.0% alcohol, 4.30TA and 3.24pH. More lemon than lime in the colour. There is more weight of fruit here, more of a golden glow through the middle, with a citrus streak to finish. Graceful as much as generous. Pleasing finish on sweet lemon fruit.
