Chassagne Montrachet Grande Montagne, Lamy-Caillat 2018

Tasting Notes

A new cuvée for Lamy-Caillat, the 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Grande Montagne is from a 14-are parcel in the stony, upper part of this climat (next to Thierry Pillot's holdings) that was formerly exploited by Domaine Lamy-Pillot. Delivering a deep bouquet of lime, crisp green apple and almond paste, it's full-bodied, multidimensional and layered, with lovely depth and concentration, concluding with a long and saline finish.
