Santenay Clos Rousseau, Chevrot 2019

Tasting Notes

In tank, to bottle in March. Intense deep purple. The fruit on the nose is less immediately exuberant than the Santenay Vieilles Vignes, but there is no doubting the intensity. The Clos Rousseau is really powerful yet in a balanced way, with no excess of heat or alcohol. All in a dark fruit register. Satisfying.
