Chassagne Montrachet La Romanée, Lamy-Caillat 2016

Tasting Notes

Aromas of lemon oil, melon, wet stones and iodine introduce the 2016 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Romanée, a medium to full-bodied, intensely concentrated wine with tangy, incisive acids, superb depth at the core and a long, searingly mineral finish. This was the least touched by frost of Caillat's holdings, and the wine is very classic in profile. Drink 2022-2040
