While there is a whiff of brett-like character present, in this case it is much more subtle and allows the earthy red berry-infused aromas to be appreciated. The sleek, delicious and punch middle weight flavors terminate in a firm, mildly warm and rustic finale. However, I cannot predict with confidence whether the brett-like character will remain subtle with time though if the cellar conditions are as they should be, it very well may.
