Tasting Notes

(opened from personal storage). This well-made effort is really quite pretty with maturing aromas of various red berries, spice and soft earth wisps that display no overt herbal nuances. There is a lovely sense of vibrancy to the well-detailed and utterly delicious middle weight flavors that offer very good depth and persistence on the ever-so-slightly lean finish. This elegant effort won't wow you with its concentration or richness but I like the overall delivery. I would further observe that while it could certainly be enjoyed now, I will hold my remaining bottles for another 2 to 3 years first. Tasted four times over the last 2 years with inconsistent results as one bottle was mildly reduced and two others were somewhat advanced while one was incredibly youthful, indeed to the point where I had difficulty recognizing the wine! Note that my scores have ranged from 89 to 92.
