Nuits Clos de l'Arlot, Domaine de l'Arlot 2019

As it almost always is, this is wonderfully elegant, airy and cool with admirably purity to the black raspberry, wild strawberry and overtly floral-infused nose. The sleek, vibrant and chiseled middle weight flavors exude a bracing salinity on the lingering finale. This is built on finesse and refinement yet make no mistake that it will be capable of rewarding a decade plus of cellaring. Note: a monopole

The 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Clos de l'Arlot is very promising indeed, mingling aromas of rose petals and cinnamon with scents of raspberries and plums in a perfumed mélange. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and sumptuous, it's melting and enveloping, with a concentrated core of fruit and a seamless, elegant profile, concluding with a saline finish.
