Tasting Notes

Here the nose is difficult to read as there is still some unabsorbed post-bottling sulfur on the lightly woody nose that is clearly ripe. There is excellent vibrancy to the nicely detailed and concentrated medium-bodied flavors that coats the palate with sap on the relatively powerful and refreshing finish that makes one involuntarily salivate. This is a lovely villages. Note: from 7 different lieux-dits

Allen Meadows, Burghound.com (83), June 2021

The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Village has turned out nicely, exhibiting aromas of crisp white peach, orange oil, spring blossom and freshly baked bread, followed by a medium to full-bodied, bright and layered palate. Lively and precise, with chalky structuring extract, it should offer a broad drinking window.
