Tasting Notes

The 2013 Beaune 1er Cru les Theurons (under the Domaine des Heritiers Jadot label) has a very tight, dark cherry and blackcurrant-scented bouquet with a slight tinniness at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, good weight in the mouth, with sappy black fruit on the grainy finish. There is more density here than on the Les Greves at the moment. Drink 2016-2032.

Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, December 2014

A similar nose with plenty of menthol introduces lush and generously proportioned flavors that possess the same fleshy mouth feel, all wrapped in a reasonably persistent finish that also exhibits a slight edginess though in this case it's slightly less evident.
