100% Nebbiolo from Barolo vineyards in Monforte and Serralunga. Given that info, and given how long the Barolo take to open up, one would imagine that Anselma's Langhe Nebbiolo would be a bit of a brute. It isn't - there are lovely layers of dark cherry fruit and a crisp freshness that runs through the wine. It has soft edges and the tannins are present but integrated - all in all, a delicious wine to drink now.
