Wow - the nose on this wine is incredible - plenty of sweet cherry fruit, some orange and a really interesting exotic spiciness too. On the palate, there are layer upon layer of dark fruit, interspersed with rich chocolate, hints of mint and chewy tannin. The velvety texture is alluring to say the least and the elegance with which this wine moves through the gears is startling. This is a serious wine that shows just what this vintage can do.
