Clos Blanc de Vougeot, Domaine de la Vougeraie 2018

Fresh lemon and lime colour, with a really racy nose, maybe some reductive character, certainly some phenolics which for me is a positive. Completely fills the mouth, white flowers, fresh apples, but also some pears to give a bit more flesh, perfectly judged acidity and the oak is nicely integrated. The barrels are made out of 2.5 year air-dried trees from the local forest of Cîteaux.
