Not surprisingly, this is aromatically similar to the regular cuvée though it's more densely fruited and this sense of density carries over to the bigger and richer flavors that flash more minerality as well on the beautifully detailed, powerful and serious finish. This is markedly more structured and a wine that should live for decades. In a word, brilliant. Don't miss! Drink: 2039+ Note: 2 barrels were produced from vines in Les Gaudichots planted in 1933 and aged in CAVIN Aphrodite barrels that are made from 300-year-old oak trees sourced from the Fontainebleau forest
