Meursault Narvaux, Louis Jadot 2019

Tasting Notes

A really delightful Meursault! Very pure, ripe-pear nose with just a hint of exotic fruit. All the generosity of this appellation, combined with good concentration and vibrant acidity, which make this invigorating at the long, very straight finish. Drink or hold.

A particularly successful effort is the 2019 Meursault Narvaux (Domaine Louis Jadot), a medium to full-bodied, bright and concentrated wine evocative of buttered citrus, pears, white flowers and blanched almonds. Medium to full-bodied, tightly wound and chalky, this is a fine proposition for the cellar.

Pale lemon, cheerful nose with a bit of coconut topping. Very good tension with a lemon infusion through the middle of the white fruit, medium flesh, excellent persistence Tasted: October 2020
