Griotte Chambertin, Lucien Le Moine 2016

Tasting Notes

This is restrained to the point of being almost timid yet it is also exceptionally pretty with a really lovely nose of red and dark currant, earth and a hint of spicy tea. There is fine richness to the beautifully textured and intense medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a very serious, dusty, mouth coating and quite firmly structured finish that is presently markedly austere but not hard. This is also going to require an extended snooze in a cool cellar.
