Tasting Notes

**Note: 70% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay, disgorged February 2020, 4.5 g/L**
An elegant, exuberantly fresh and beautifully layered nose speaks of citrus rind, quinine, cool white flowers and a mix of yeast and toast wisps. There is excellent verve but also excellent richness to the relatively full-bodied flavors that possess equally good complexity while delivering fine length on the very dry but not austere finale that really fans out as it sits on the palate. Lovely juice and for my taste, a wine that still has enough development potential remaining to allow it another 3 to 5 years of cellaring though it would be no crime to open a bottle or two now.
