Tasting Notes

(Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese GK Auction) AP: 21 18. The 2017er Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese GK Auction proves initially still very primary, but develops a gorgeous nose made of pear, peach, almond, licorice, herbs and fine spices with airing. The wine offers great balance on the palate and leaves one with a stunning feel of creamy almond paste, pear and date in the slightly honeyed and oily structure, all lifted up by great acidity in the after-taste. 2032-2067
