Tasting Notes

As good as the Chevalier is, and it's really good, this is arguably the most complex wine in the range with its mix of highly restrained and super-complex white orchard fruit, acacia blossom, citrus, spice, soft oak and jasmine tea aromas. The wonderfully seductive yet beautifully sleek large-scaled flavors bathe the palate in sappy dry extract while delivering superb length on the focused, powerful and beautifully well-balanced finish. This is a magnificent mineral-driven Montrachet and one of the best wines of the 2018 vintage. A genuine 'wow' wine.
