Bottled just after the 2014 harvest, the 2014 Marsannay Villlage contains 20-30% whole-bunch fruit. It has a tight, stony dark cherry and wild strawberry-scented bouquet - muted at first, but it gathers momentum in the glass. The palate exerts a gentle grip on the entry with brisk black cherry and blueberry fruit with a vitamin-like purity on the finish. Very fine, if just a little short.
