Disgorged in April 2009, Giraud only produced some 300 bottles of the 2004 Brut Grand Cru Aÿ Argonne Rosé, so it's as rare as hens' teeth, but the wine is drinking beautifully today. Offering up aromas of honeycomb, plums, exotic spices, pear and toasted bread, it's full-bodied, deep and vinous, with huge concentration, lively acids and elegant phenolic musculature emphasized by the 6% red wine in the blend. Long, patinated and immensely complex, readers fortunate enough to own a bottle or two are certainly in for a treat. 2015 - 2028
