Chambertin, Francois Feuillet 2011

Tasting Notes

This is cooler and more restrained with an elegant, airy and beautifully well-layered nose of red berries, floral elements, spice and wet stone, all of which are trimmed in soft wood notes. The mineral character is also reflected by the precise, intense and overtly powerful medium weight flavors that possess outstanding length where the finish is supported by unusually fine grained tannins. This should age exceptionally well but note that plenty of time will be required for this to arrive at its full apogee.
