Tasting Notes

This is a blend of fruit from all three communes - Barolo, Monforte d'Alba and Serralunga d'Alba. The nose is all about exotic spice and dark cherries. Grippy, firm tannins support voluptuous fruit. Silky yet structured - a really delicious wine that will be fantastic now with lots of air but will last as long as you want it to.

Farr Vintners, Farr Tasting, October 2019

Mid crimson. Ferrous and earthy nose. Extremely tight and tense tannins at the moment, firm and with subtle red fruits. This is so young at the moment, and tough going but has good fruit and vibrancy. 2023-2030
