Gevrey Chambertin, Dujac Fils & Pere 2017

Tasting Notes

In contrast to the expressiveness of the prior two wines this is much more reticent with its brooding nose of plum, dark currant, floral and sauvage hints. There is excellent intensity and underlying tension suffusing the medium-bodied flavors that retain a lovely sense of detail and particularly so on the more complex and longer finish. This offers fine quality for its level and is worth considering.
