(opened from personal storage). I last cracked one of these in 2012 and it continues to dazzle with its fully mature, and fully secondary nose that displays plenty of earth and wet stone character. There is good concentration to the impressively rich and concentrated medium-bodied flavors that possess excellent depth and fine persistence on the mouth coating finish. Note that this changed materially with 30 minutes or so of air as it initially displayed some finishing structure that was firm enough to notice yet once the '93 Fuées got rolling it was pure velvet. In sum this is really lovely and drinking perfectly and there is no reason to cellar it further, at least not in terms of potential development. Consistent and recent notes.
