Planted in 1992 with 100% Mendoza clones and raised in 100% oak that is at least 5 years old, Block 2 is an East facing site that is cooler than Block 6. The result is a fragrant, creamy nose of green fruits, lemon curd and fresh butter. The palate is zesty and refreshing thanks to high acidity, but broad in texture. This interplay of rich texture and zesty fruit leaves a lightly mineral and savoury edge. Long and fine on the finish.
