Their flagship 2013 Syrah is selected from small parts of the vineyard that have almost pure granite and deliver more subtle tannins that are round and harmonious, without any edges but with grip. This is not produced every year, and for example, there will not be a 2016. The wine is fermented with full clusters and matured in 225-liter oak barrels for a long time (18 to 20 months), and it is kept in bottle for a couple of years before it's released. It feels extremely young, and the sample from magnum is even tighter, evolving at a very slow pace, but the nose is developed, with classical cool-climate Syrah aromas. 2,972 bottles were filled in December 2014.
