A cool and beautifully perfumed nose offers up essence of various red berries and exotic spice nuances along with notes of Asian-style tea, lavender, violet and rose petal. The rich, voluminous and concentrated flavors possess excellent size and weight as well as plenty of sleek muscle and minerality, the latter of which really comes up on the super-saline finish that is explosively long. This is class in a glass though make no mistake that it is a wine that is going to require extended keeping if you wish to see it at its peak. In a word, terrific.
