Tasting Notes

An unexciting, somewhat indifferent style of wine, the medium garnet color offers up a nose of mushroom, earth and licorice, with some ripe cherry fruit. In the mouth there is not much concentration, and some dry astringent tannins are in the finish. It is not much concentration, and some dry astringent tannins are in the finish. It is not going to get any better, but it is certainly capable of lasting for up to a decade. Anticipated maturity: now-2010. Last tasted, 2/02.
