Tasting Notes

This shows gorgeous fruit of cherries and strawberries. Medium body, firm tannins and a fresh finish. Drink or hold.

James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com, November 2015

A bright ruby in the glass, this wine offers an open, classically medocain nose of blackcurrant, cherry, blackcurrant leaf and lightly spicy, earthy undertones. The palate is bright, fresh and crisp, with cool black fruits and riper red fruits to the fore. The tannins are chalky but yielding, giving a smooth and approachable palate that means this wine is ready to drink, complementing the notes of camphor, savoury spice and undergrowth. A bright, juicy wine perfect for early consumption.
